Officers

President - John Fisher

Responsible for all club activities. Report to Athletic Director. Represent club at Sideliners meetings. Communicate with coaches. Organize and lead all Executive Board and general member meetings. Help all committee chairs meet goals. Review and approve all spending by any member of club. Yearly review of financials with Treasurer.

Vice President Boys - Tony Okray

Represent all respective teams at Executive Board meetings. Create fundraiser ideas. Nominate committee chairs. Manage freshman communications and welcoming process. Order respective teams bags and t-shirts. Work as point of contact for respective committee chairs. Collect donations from players for coaches’ gifts. Help player’s select and present gifts at the banquet.

Vice President Girls - Chris Anderson

Manage club finances including check writing, balancing accounts, budget reporting and analysis, IRS reporting.

Point of contact for club web site. Work with players and coaches to create rosters. Manage e-mail communications. Take and report meeting minutes.

Fundraiser Chairs

April Lottery - Lisa Green, Teresa Somody

Tickets sold in March, follows April Ohio Lottery results. Distribute then collect sold tickets from players. Follow daily April Ohio Lottery results and send payouts to winners.

Shoot-out- Lisa Green, Teresa Somody

August preseason fundraiser. Distribute and collect pledge sheets from players, assist with running event. Assist with getting sponsors and other gifts from local businesses. Event precedes family picnic.

Program Book - Jackie Joliat, Bob Vandervaart and David Daniluk

June 1 until book is completed late August. Coordinate ad forms and sales among the players. Coordinate getting all senior profiles, schedules etc that go into the program books from the respective contributors. Assemble the electronic version of the program book and arrange to get programs printed. Edit, print and distribute program books.

Boys’ Concession stand - Lisa and Dennis Rambaud

Girls’ Concession stand - Lisa and Dennis Rambaud

All homes games. Stock concession stand, schedule and train workers, find hot food vendors and donations, clean-up at end of each home game, manage receipts and deposits. Clean stand before and after season.

Summer social event planner -

Plan team social events.

Scholarships - McDearmon, Susan Foust

November – May. Manage process to award 2 scholarships to graduating seniors at the Awards ceremony in May. Involves distributing scholarship forms to Seniors, selecting judges, meeting with judges, deciding winners, notifying Guidance of winners, making the award at the May ceremony.

Middle School Liaison - Tony Okray, Susan Foust

Year round. Work with Coaches to keep contact with middle school players and organize middle school summer camp.

Banquet - Elizabeth Helterbran

November. Select date, select venue, select menu all staying within budget. Publicize event, collect payments, decorate, and organize all aspects of the evening.

Picnic - Jackie Caldwell and Debbie Muir

August. Organize family picnic held after the Shoot-out. Contact the High School for permission to use commons. Decide on menu and communicate to families. Organize event including supplies, beverages, entrée, dining area, and clean-up.

Boys’ Senior Representative - Sandy Langley and Lisa McDearmon

Girls’ Senior Representative - Robin Boyle and Elizabeth Helterbran

Senior parent responsibility for entire season. Organize and hang Varsity player posters for home games. Help seniors to write their profiles for the Program Book. Work with Committee Chair on Senior Night. Manage senior gifts to be presented on banquet night.

Boys’ Senior Night - Peggy Yoos

Girls’ Senior Night - Robin Boyle and Elizabeth Helterbran

September to event night. Plan and organize the senior night activities (last regular season home game). Invite dignitaries and school administrators, get flowers for parents, arrange photographer, publicize event, decorate, order food, and clean-up.

Boys’ Travel Meals -

Girls’ Travel Meals - Trinette Cotsmire

Entire season. Arrange purchase of travel meals for all teams for all away games. Decide on menu, choose vendor, work as point of contact for vendor and coaches, and manage food and water coolers.

Boys’ Photographers - Bethanie Okray, Jim Foust

Girls’ Photographers - Shawn Anderson and Richard

Take photos during games, post to web-site, help create banquet night video production.

Boys’ Reporter - John Fisher and Mark Caldwell

Girls’ Reporter - Skip Scherer

Take game statistics, call in Varsity game results to newspapers, write copy for and post to web-site.
